Why do you do blogging?: Blogging has been my escape. I see blogging as this fata morgana that offers me what the real world fails to give. It provides me my battlefield with myself being the opponent. It keeps me going. It helps me express the things that are hard for me to actually say. My blog is an outburst of my seaweed-infested mind. Whatever I think and feel, I write. Sometimes, I would even share the things that I know, putting blogging a notch higher by helping others out in any way possible. I blog because I am trapped in this world and there’s no way out. I blog because I am not going anywhere anyway.

Why do you do blogging?: I have been writing literary pieces since I was a kid and I never really intended to get publish or had the initiative to publish my pieces online. I always wanted to be a journalist and as I grew up, I realized that I cannot really pursue my dream to become a journalist so I just decided to have a blog dedicated to writing.

The name of my blog, thediaryofayoungman, was inspired not by Jeff Kinney’s The Diary of A Wimpy Kid, but by Anne Frank’s The Diary of a Young Girl. Anne Frank, as one of my many influences, pushed me to put whatever I have written at my journal or diary and have them read by people, even if I just started having only a few hits for lengthy and meaningful compositions. These situations never hindered me to continue with what I am passionate about.

To set things straight, I do blogging to inspire others and let them know that there are still people out there who write.

Another thing is that, I have this segment called 10 Questions. It is a mock interview on different strangers, rarely known by anyone, or not even known at all. I want to let people have social awareness and inculcate in them the knowledge that people like them exist and some of them really define our society and the nation, as a whole. It’s a journalistic dream in progress.

Why do you do blogging?:  Ako? Nung Una wala nga akong kaalam-alam sa Tumblr eh. Na-discover ko lang yung tumblr dahil sa mga kumakalat na pictures sa Facebook tapos may naka watermark na “insertURLhere.tumblr.com” edi pinuntahan ko yung website ng Tumblr. Una ko pa yatang Post eh Picture ng mga kapatid ko, konting caption lang, di naman talaga ako mahilig magsulat/mag type nun. Reblogger pa ako, pero nung medyo naging Active ako sa tumblr, nung time na na-follow ko yung iba sa mga kilalang blogger nuon, dun ako na enganyo na mag blog. Yung mag post tungkol sa mga opinyon ko sa mga bagay-bagay. Nung una naman, Parang Online Diary ko lang talaga ang Tumblr, ang pinka meaning lang naman kasi dati ng blog eh Online Diary, Kaya nga ALL DAY LONG ang Blog Title ko. Mas Marami akong personal posts. Mga drama ko sa Lovelife ko, Mga nangyari sa akin sa araw-araw. Eventually nadagdagan na yung mga pinopost ko, di na puro lang sa karansan ko. Yun nga, yung pinopost ko na din sa blog ko yung mga opinyon ko sa buhay buhay. Nakaka enjoy mag Blog. Nakakawala ng Stress. Yung Tipong mabigat na nararamdaman ko, i-blog ko lang gumagaan, dagdagan pa yan ng mga Reply at TA ng mga Friends at Followers mo.
